Integrating Paid On Results with Magento

With our easy integration for Magento you can complete your Paid On Results integration quickly. Follow these simple steps to successfully integrate our Conversion Tag and Page Footer Tag.

We need to know your Paid On Results Merchant ID to provide the correct integration instructions.
Setting up the Conversion Tag

Visit the Magento Marketplace and order/purchase our module for your Magento store. The module is free and you will not be asked to make a payment, just complete the checkout process as normal.

Alternatively you can download module below for a manual installation.

Install and enable the Magento module. This process is the same for any other module you have installed previously. The steps may vary, but typically would involve running the following commands. As with any module you install, ensure you have a backup before making changes to your Magento store.

If installing from the Adobe Marketplace use

composer require paidonresults/module-affiliatemarketing

If installing manually, create the directory app/code/Paidonresults/AffiliateMarketing within your Magento installation, download the plug-in above, extract the files and upload the files into that directory.

Enable the module, typically using the following commands. You may have alternative ways of enabling modules which you should use instead.

php bin/magento module:enable Paidonresults_AffiliateMarketing
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento setup:di:compile
php bin/magento cache:flush

Return to your Magento Admin Panel and go to System > Configuration. You should see the Paid On Results module installed on the left hand side, click that to open the settings for the module. You need to enter the following settings.

  • In the Merchant ID box enter:
  • In Exclude VAT enter YES to calculate Affiliate commission on the order value minus VAT at 20% or enter NO to calculate Affiliate commission on the full order value
  • Status should be Yes

Below is your Page Footer Tag, copy the code to clipboard

In your Magento admin panel and go to Content > Design Configuration and select Edit for the store you're using.

Click on Footer and here you can add your Page Footer Tag above into the Miscellaneous HTML section

Click the Save Configuration button on the top right. Magento may ask you to Clear your Cache, if so complete that step as normal

If you run into any issues installing and setting up our module

You may need to head to System > Cache Management in your Magento admin panel, then follow the steps to refresh and clean your cache.

This completes your integration with Magento and Paid On Results. Your integration unlocks our Voucher Manager and Product Based reporting (when providing a product feed).

You need to complete a test sale for us to ensure everything is correct.
