Product Feeds

It is easy to provide a Product Feed and in most cases you already have a Product Feed we can use.

• It is free to integrate and offer a Product Feed to your Affiliates
• We accept your product data in the standard formats of CSV or XML
• A URL is given to us to download the Product Feed from
• CSV Product Feeds: Fields can be separated by comma, pipe or tab
• The Product Feed should be kept up to date, we check your Product Feed for changes at least once every 24 hours

If you already provide a Product Feed to price comparison site, or a Product Feed for Google Base / Google Products we can usually use that as well. Most e-commerce platforms will have a way to generate a Product Feed or "shopping feed" for price comparison - we can use those too, so it is unlikely you need to create a separate feed for us.

Your Paid On Results Account Manager can check if any data feeds you already have are suitable, just send them the URL to the Product Feed. In the majority of cases no special set-up or work is required to provide a Product Feed to us.

Sample Product Feeds

To set-up a Product Feed you need to provide us with the URL to download your Product Feed.

• If your Affiliate Program is live on our network: please contact your Account Manager or use Contact Us within the Merchant Control Panel, and provide us with the URL to your Product Feed.
• If you are currently setting up your Affiliate Program: enter the URL to your Product Feed within the Product Feed section of the Road to Paid On Results

Once we receive your Product Feed, we will check to ensure it is the correct format and then integrate it for use. After your Product Feed has been successfully integrated we will check the same Product Feed URL at least once daily and update our system with changes to your products.

Your Product Feed has to contain the following required fields for each product for us to be able to accept and use the Product Feed

• Product ID: This field should contain a unique reference for the product, which does not change for the lifetime of the product and is unique to that product. It is important that the product id is not re-used in the future
• Product Name: The product name should be one the customer would expect to see, for example if the product is a television, then an incorrect product name would be "TV", whereas "LG OLED 55C54LA OLED evo HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart AI TV" would be correct
• Product Price: The full inclusive price of the product, including any VAT
• Product URL: The full URL to the product on your website
• Product Description: This is the full product description. If this contains HTML code you can choose to remove this yourself, or we can automatically do that for you. You can include two separate product descriptions if you wish, one with HTML and one without and we can offer both to Affiliates
• Product Image URL: The URL to a image for the product, this should be a high resolution/full size image. We download this image once and Affiliates then download them from us
• Product Category: Either the category you use on your website for this product or the Google Product Category. If you have a multi-path category structure, for example, Men's > T-shirts, then you should use the full category path in your field.

In addition to the Required Fields, you can also offer any number of other fields which you believe are useful and we can make those available to Affiliates. Here are some suggestions of good fields to also include.

• Brand Name: The name of the manufacturer of the product, such as "LG"
• Gender: Essential for fashion and clothing Affiliate Programs. If the product is aimed at a certain gender. Standard values would be Male, Female, All or Unisex
• Original / RRP Price: You can include separate price fields containing the RRP price or any original price if the product was previously sold at a different price to what is in the Product Price field.
• Product Availability: If the product is currently in stock or out of stock
