Cape Wine Cellars is owned by Daan Coetzee, who has worked in the South African wine industry for 20 years and now run a wine and cheese shop in Brockenhurst, Hampshire.

The Cape Wine Cellars online store has a selection of value for money and premium wines from New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina, Chile and Australia because we just love the new world style of wine making – fruity, soft tannins, elegant and modern – sunshine in a glass!  And I understand the labels!

We do not stock a bag of mediocre wines, but rather, a carefully selected, smaller group of highly polished wines.  It’s a classic case of high quality over quantity.

At any one time the website will list about 80 wines which are personally chosen by me and my wife Rebecca. Our philosophy is to stock a smaller and more manageable range of wines, with constant new additions and repeats of old favourites. 

We must offer our customers value – so I am always on the lookout for little gems that will be listed on the home page as “Best Buys” and will change regularly, and be communicated to our customers who opt in to receive our recommendations every second week.  From time to time these “Best Buys” will also be offered to Affiliates to promote through custom designed banners.

The wines on the website have all been tasted and chosen on grounds of offering good value for money in its price bracket which could range from £8.95 per bottle to more than £25.00. We do not stock wines that are available in the regular supermarkets   or large brick and mortar wine merchant chains.
