Love Affiliate Marketing Competition

As you may well all know we have been ramping up our exposure: sponsoring WordUp Inverness 2012, Love Affiliate Marketing Valentines Day competition and recently the sponsoring the UK’s best search and marketing conference – ThinkVis 9.  Being the main sponsor takes up a lot of time and resources and as such we’ve only just round to announcing the winners of the Valentine Day’s competition.

We asked the affiliate community to tap into their creative nature and come up with something saucy and cheeky to say about the industry we all love.  The response to our competition staggered us – I think it must have been the quality of the prizes on offer from our kind merchants LoveHoney and DeadGoodUndies or it might have just been the challenge of getting those creative juices flowing.

So to our winners: (by the way – try not to giggle ever time you read the word “entry” – double entendres, I love them)

Lovehoney

Our cheekiest entry (ooh err musses) competition, kindly sponsored by LoveHoney, was won by Sue Stains who’ll receive a nice box of goodies.  Her winning entry:

“having Mr Grey from Fifty shades in the office would certainly put new meanings on the phrase Contextual Linking and I would definitely turn his software into hardware”

The funniest entry (giggles again) was supplied by Jason Dale.  He’ll receive a £100 voucher to spend at DeadGoodUndies.  The winning entry was:

“Undies are red and Videos are blue but if they don’t pay commission we won’t promote them to you.”

The re-tweet competition was won by Kirstin Stephenson who’ll receive a mystery hamper.  But  the overall best entry  (titters) was won by… drum roll… Matthew Lake who’ll get a huge hamper of chocolates, kindly and generously donated by your favourite affiliate network – us!  The winning entry was:

“I find it’s a great way to determine how stiff the competition in a new market is without spending a lot of money up front (a bit like a cheap date). Once I’ve determined that there’s chemistry between me and the new market, I can go ahead with full market penetration for maximum pleasure! I also like the fact you can quickly work with new merchants due to the no-strings attached setup, and it’s even better that you can have a relationship with multiple vendors at the same time without it being considered as cheating!”

Paid On Results would like to  thank our kind sponsors LoveHoney and DeadGoodUndies for their generous prizes and to the affiliate community who really are a creative bunch.
